An Open Collaborative Culture

The Karma Bird House supports Vermont's creative community and economy with over 47,000 square feet of energizing space on Burlington's waterfront. The building has an old world industrial character with beautifully honed wood floors, bold raw beams, exposed brick walls, dramatic ceiling heights and west wall offices with raised decks offering epic lake views. Our dog-friendly spaces range in size from single to three or four person offices, as well as spaces for larger groups. The building is secure and safe with 24 hour digital key card access for anyone leasing a space. Every floor offers comfortably appointed and open common areas designed to enhance the natural community connections The Karma Bird House was created for.

47 Maple Street, home to The Karma Bird House, is a beautifully restored historic industrial building built in 1919 that has been a source of creative energy for decades–housing Solidarity of Unbridled Labour, Iksra Print Collective, the KBH Gallery, Maglianero Café, 1% for the Planet, Mamava, the Young Writiers Project, Oxbow Creative, 3Q Digital, Pwnie Express, Terry Bicycles, and more. You are invited to be part of this dynamic creative culture and network.
